Barry-Roubaix Entries Up For Grabs!

Feels just a bit like spring, doesn’t it? While the weather might not have caught up with the calendar quite yet, there’s a bright, warm light at the end of the winter tunnel. For so many of us in the Midwest, that’s the Barry-Roubaix.

Over the past decade, the Barry-Roubaix has grown from a small event to get the season start to the nation’s biggest gravel road race and the pinnacle of an entire mirco-season of gravel races in Michigan. It wasn’t long ago that the Barry-Roubaix was the unofficial start of the year. Now, there are a half-dozen events of various sizes that have been born as tune-up races in the run-up to Barry.

All of those racers have helped the event grow to over three thousand riders. It’s a lot more than size, too. Few bike races in the country have the eager, fervent following that the Barry-Roubaix has cultivated over the past few years, and those 3,000 riders helped to sell the race out in record-time in 2020. That left plenty of folks on the outside looking in ahead of Saturday, April 7, the date of the race. Luckily, we’ve got a few spots to giveaway!

Over the next few weeks, make sure you ‘Like’ the Cycling Lawyer and Barry-Roubaix Facebook pages for a chance to win a free entry into this year’s sold-out race. All you’ll have to do is share the post announcing the entries, and you’ll be in with a shot! We’ll announce the winners with plenty of time to make travel arrangements before April, and with three entries up for grabs, you’re going to want to nudge a pal to go after a free entry, too.

That’s not all. We’re also proud to bring you Course Updates all the way to the start line, with the last news about Sager Road, mud, ice, snow, and the best bike to ride on your next recon.

Spring might not be here quite yet, but with a free entry into the biggest gravel race of the season, it definitely feels a bit closer!
