Meet Chuck Grzanka, Cycling Lawyer

From the biggest races to the most laid-back group rides, Chuck understands the simple pleasure of pedaling a bike because it’s a sport he’s had a passion for over decades of enjoyment.

It’s been a long, exciting road for Chuck. A graduate of the University of Michigan, he then went on to receive his law degree from Wayne State Law School. He is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Michigan Self Insurers Association. He is past chairman of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, a member of the Michigan State Bar Association section of Negligence, a member of the American Bar Association Committee on Employer’s Liability, and a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association.
Chuck is the founder and president of the law firm of Grzanka Grit McDonald. He has practiced law for more than 39 years, representing both insurance companies and injured individuals throughout the entire state of Michigan and in numerous other states. Grzanka has bench and jury trial experience in a number of areas including cycling or bicycle crash litigation, personal injury, medical issues, handicap discrimination, wrongful termination, breach of contract, construction, commercial disputes, and product liability.
Mr. Grzanka is a past member of the International Society of Primerus Lawyers and has been regularly selected for admission by the A.M. Best Company for inclusion in its national Directory of Recommended Attorneys. He has also been featured in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers as having received the highest (AV) rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and having been designated as outstanding in his field. In addition to lectures and seminars throughout the United States, Chuck has also lectured in Asia on issues of product liability and litigation.
